Dr. Rusul Jassim Khalaf, the head of the laboratory, said that "the laboratory adopts advanced methods and tools, including the recruitment of human models, medical dolls, and modern simulators, to train students to deal with various medical conditions in a safe way, before moving on to dealing with patients in the hospital environment."
"This approach contributes to enhancing students' confidence in their abilities and ensuring the quality of medical education through practical training and direct interaction with the techniques used in medical practices,"she added.
She explained that" the Al-Ameed University is working to attract teaching staff with high competence and experience, which contributes to providing an integrated educational environment based on teamwork and team spirit, "noting that"the skills lab receives continuous support throughout the year, represented by the holding of many workshops and medical seminars, in addition to participating in international conferences such as the (Arab Health) conference held in Dubai last year."
Khalaf continued that "the laboratory is the cornerstone in the education of medical students, as it provides an environment similar to the hospital environment, enabling the student to practice in a practical way before direct contact with real patients, to ensure the development of his competencies and equip him to face the actual medical challenges".
