The Intellectual Affairs Department and the Red Cross mission discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine discussed with the International Red Cross mission in Iraq ways to enhance joint cooperation.

The director of the Iraqi Center for documenting extremist crimes of the department, Dr. Abbas Al-Quraishi, said that the center received at its headquarters in Najaf Al-Ashraf a delegation from the International Red Cross mission in Iraq, headed by the head of the sub-mission in Baghdad, Mr. Thierry Mukesho, accompanied by a group of advisers".

"The visit included discussing various topics, including documenting crimes committed against civilians by extremist groups, and discussing ways of cooperation between the two sides to serve the public interest,"he added.

For his part, Mr. Thierry Mukesho stated that" the Iraqi Center for documenting extremist crimes is doing a great job through its continuous activities and its active role in documenting crimes committed against civilians,"praising the center's strategy and clear vision in this area."
