The closing ceremony was attended by a number of religious, cultural, academic and parliamentary figures, as well as a large crowd of the citizens of Hyderabad and delegations of the holy shrines.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses of the holy Quran followed by the word of the holy shrine delivered by Sheikh Adel Al-Wakeel, which he started by the verse: {Your ally is none but Allah and [therefore] His Messenger and those who have believed - those who establish prayer and give Zakah, and they bow [in worship].} (5/55) explaining that this verse is about Imam Ali (peace be upon him) who has give his ring as Sadaqah while in position of [bow] Ruku', to give an evidence that he, the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) is the only right successor of the holy Prophet (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household). We must then keep the love of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in our hearts along with the belief in their succession, as the Holy Prophet (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household) said: "The example of Ali (peace be upon him) among you, is like the covered Ka'ba, looking at it is a worship, and the pilgrimage to it is an obligation."
He added: "Iraq, its people and its holy sites are in need of prayers to relieve the situation caused by the barbaric attack from the progeny and followers of Yazeed and Mu'awiyah, so do not forget it in your prayers."
Concluding: "Our thanks and gratitude to all who have contributed and participated in the success of this religious festivity, presented by the Secretariat General of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, the thanks go also to all its committees and working staff who have travelled to attend it, and we hope that we will meet again in future religious events around the love of the holy Prophet and his holy pure family (prayers of Allah be upon them all.)
Then notables from Hyderabad and beyond presented their words, Sayed. Luqman Hussayn stated:" We thank the holy shrines and their delegations for the activities they organized with which the people of the city have interacted and which they will remember for a long time as it was a chance to connect with their brothers in Iraq."
Then the word of the representative of the religious authority was delivered on behalf by Sayed. Nezar Reda Agha, who has started it by the thanks and gratitude to the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for sponsoring this spiritual festival that is expressing the sincere Wilaya to the Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and his holy Household) in the time when the enemies of Ali and his lovers try to kill them, but they won't achieve their aim, as they will never stop the lovers and followers from their belief.
Followed by the word of the board council of the city Hyderabad delivered by Sayed Altaf Haydar Radawi who explained: "The people of Hyderabad are grateful for the establishment of this festival, which will be remembered by the citizens, as with your visit you have shortened the distances and made us feel like if we are in the holy shrines of Iraq. And praise to God the festival has achieved its goals and we hope that this experience is repeated as soon as possible."
Followed by the word of the Imam Al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine delivered by the head of its delegation Mr. Hussayn Al-Salami, then the word of the representative of the religious authority in Bombay city and the supervisor of the Hawzas in Hyderabad city, who has thanked our holy Imams (peace be upon them) with whose blessings this festival was held, adding: "All the thanks is to the holy shrines and especially the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for continuing to establish this festival, which is developed year after the other, also all the thanks to the people of Hyderabad, its Hawzas, religious schools and local government for their assistance for the success of this festival, and we pray the Almighty God to protect Iraq from all its enemies."
Then, the delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has distributed gift and appreciation certificates and shields to all who have contributed to the success of the festival, which was concluded by the draw of the ideological competitions that was held during the five days of the festival and the announcements of the winners, who will be honoured by the Zyarat of the holy shrines in Iraq.
