The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine launches the fifth convoy of aid to the relief of the Lebanese people

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has launched the fifth aid convoy to Syria, comprising 19 trucks, to send aid the Lebanese displaced there, who were displaced as a result of the Zionist aggression on Lebanon.

The convoy set off from the holy city of Karbala, in the presence of the chairman of the relief committee formed by the holy shrine; Sayed Mohammad Al-Ashigar, and the director of the Office of its Senior Official; Mr. Afdhal al-Shami.

"The committee launched the fifth convoy of humanitarian aid to Syria, to the relief of displaced Lebanese families there, consisting of 19 trucks and containing almost 8,000 food baskets and 16 thousand blankets in conjunction with low temperatures, in addition to meat and various foodstuffs,"said Sayed al-Ashigar.

He added that " the materials will be distributed to those in need in various Syrian regions, as well as the affected people in Lebanon, in coordination with the delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine on the ground in Syria," pointing out that "a large part of the aid comes with the support of the holy shrine, in addition to the donations provided by the people and the Husseini processions, in response to the call of the supreme religious authority in Najaf, and the directives of the Senior Official; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, to do what contributes to alleviating the suffering of the Lebanese people and securing their humanitarian needs."

The Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine has launched an extensive campaign to provide assistance to the Lebanese people in light of the Zionist aggression that violates human rights and international norms, including sending humanitarian aid to those affected by them, and providing accommodation to accommodate the arrivals of (Iraqi guests)".

In recent days, the holy shrine has sent four convoys carrying thousands of tons of aid, as part of its relief campaign, equipping a field hospital and another Mobile One, A team of specialized doctors, and cars loaded with medicines and foodstuffs to distribute them to Lebanese families, in addition to a central kitchen to prepare food for displaced families in shelter centers.
