The technical staff of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues the work of Agriculture and infrastructure equipment in the Waha rest project with an area of 63 dunums, on the Najaf-Karbala road.

The project manager, Engineer Sajjad Al-Khazraji, said that " the Waha entertainment project is one of the projects that seeks to provide a natural outlet for families and visitors, and contains vast green spaces and integrated infrastructure, as well as a range of gaming facilities and various activities."

"The current completion rate of the project has reached 18%, and a large number of agricultural and infrastructure works have been completed, and are still ongoing, as many oases have been planted with palms, in addition to other plants, such as Thistle, acacia trees, and others,"he added.

"Most of the roads inside the project have been paved with Muqarnas, multiple resting places have been set up, and we have also started work on establishing electricity and irrigation water networks,"he explained.

"The green spaces in the project contribute to reducing desertification in Karbala governorate, pointing to the creation of a large lake inside the project to add an aesthetic dimension that contributes to attracting visitors and providing a calm and comfortable natural environment for families,"Al-Khazraji said.
