The delegation of the Faculty of Agriculture at Karbala University praised the southern and Northern Green Belt project, affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.
The head of the green belt department; Mr. Nasser Hussein, said that "the delegation of the Faculty of Agriculture at Karbala University praised the southern and Northern Green Belt project of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, during his visit to the project, which includes (24) green oasis".
He added that"the professors of the Faculty of Agriculture were briefed on the successes achieved in the Green Belt project and how the work is progressing, in addition to launching a joint cooperation project between the college and the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, to make the green belt a research and practical laboratory for graduate students at the college".
For his part, the dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Karbala University said that "our visit today came to see the Green Belt project of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and its green oases, and we have seen a developed agricultural model in all disciplines, which confirms that the agricultural projects of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine have become exemplary projects".
"There will be scientific cooperation between the college and the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine so that our graduate students benefit from the agricultural green belt project, to be a research and practical site for these students,"he added.
