The division of religious guidance concludes the mourning councils in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her)

The division of women's religious guidance, in cooperation with the women's divisions of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, concluded the mourning councils for the commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of as-Siddiqa al-Taherah (peace be upon her).

The official of the division; Mrs. Adhraa al-Shami, said that " the women division at the holy shrine commemorated the sad occasion, the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), by holding mourning councils for three consecutive days in the basement of Imam Musa al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) in the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)".

She added that " the condolence program began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the reading of the Ziyarat of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her), followed by a theatrical performance, provided by the Hussayni Public Speaking Division of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, which embodied some of the sad facts that Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) was subjected to, from injustice, up to the incident of her martyrdom."

Al-Shami explained that"the mourning councils witnessed the recitation of many lamentation poems that dealt with the oppression of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) and what she suffered in order to preserve the principles of Islam. The council concluded by reading Dua al-Faraj".

These councils are an important opportunity to deepen religious awareness and promote the values and principles embodied in the biography of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her).
