The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced the arrival of the sixth convoy of aid to Syria, as part of its campaign to support and relief the Lebanese people, after the recent Zionist attacks.
The Relief Committee at the holy shrine received the sixth humanitarian aid convoy to support the Lebanese displaced in Syria, loaded with 500 tons of relief materials, which comes in response to the call of the supreme religious authority in Najaf, and the directives of the Senior Official; His Eminence Ahmad al-Safi, to do what contributes to alleviating the suffering of the Lebanese people and securing their humanitarian needs.
The convoy includes large quantities of food, medical supplies, mattresses, blankets and necessary supplies needed by displaced Lebanese families, and will be distributed to displaced shelter centers to deliver them to those in need in various Syrian regions.
The sixth aid convoy consists of 20 trucks, including two trucks loaded with medical materials, while the rest of the trucks carry food, mattresses and winter clothing intended for men and women of different ages.
The Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine launched an expanded campaign to provide assistance to the Lebanese people, in light of the Zionist aggression that violates human rights and international norms, including sending humanitarian aid to those affected by them, and providing housing to accommodate expatriates from (guests of Iraq).
In recent days, the holy shrine has sent five convoys carrying thousands of tons of aid as part of its relief campaign, equipping a field hospital and another Mobile One, A team of specialized doctors, and cars loaded with medicines and foodstuffs to distribute them to Lebanese families, in addition to a central kitchen to prepare food for displaced families in shelter centers.
