The beginning of the second stage of rehabilitation of the oasis of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)

The southern green belt department of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced the start of the second stage of rehabilitation of the Imam al-Hussayn Oasis (peace be upon him) in order to promote environmental sustainability.

The head of the Department, Mr. Nasser Hussein Miteb, said that "the staffs of the Southern Green Belt have started the work of the second phase of the rehabilitation of the Imam al-Hussayn Oasis (peace be upon him), to increase green spaces and promote environmental sustainability".

He added that " the second stage includes the installation of special sessions to rest the Karbala families and visiting delegations from inside and outside Iraq and equip them, after completing the initial construction stages of infrastructure, and the delivery of water and energy sources."

Miteb said that " the oasis of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) will be a productive project that contributes to supporting the agricultural sector, besides being an outlet for families," noting that "the Oasis will be ready in two months, and will open its doors to visitors."
