The activities of the first day of the seventh Al-Ameed international scientific conference witnessed the launch of the second research session to discuss the English language research participating in the conference.
The conference is held under the auspices of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and is organized by the Al-Ameed scientific and intellectual Association, in cooperation with the Al-Kafeel and Al-Ameed universities, under the title (family and Community Security: Identity and technical challenges), and for two days.
The research session was chaired by Dr. Haider Ghazi and its rapporteur was Professor Firas Abdel Naim.
The session discussed six participating research papers in English, namely: (from virtual to space: how the internet three-dimensionally deconstructs the contributions of family and society) by Dr. Shahinaz aliddin from Canada, and(integrating the four skills in English for specific purposes to improve employment opportunities and Social Security) by researcher Lubna Ben Nasr from Tunisia.
The session also discussed (pragmatic identity: a comprehensive analysis: examples from Imam al-Hussayn's speech in the Battle of at-Taf, Ashura) by Dr. Walid Redha al-Jawad, (the concept of security in the prophetic heritage: a cognitive rhetorical analysis) by Dr. Adawiya Sattar Abboud, and(digital identities in contemporary literature: virtual reality, self-perception, and the role of the family in the novel - The first Ready Player-by Ernest Klein) by researcher Ahmed Al-Hilal.
The opening events of the first day of the conference witnessed multiple paragraphs, including the launching ceremony of the conference, a documentary film reviewing the previous versions of it was shown, and the first research session was held to discuss a number of scientific researches, which revolve around various topics, including social and psychological readings, family and Community Security, religion and heritage, intellectual security, and others.
