The head of the delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in Syria, Mr. Khalil Hanoun, confirmed that the host complex of the holy shrine provides about 10 thousand meals a day for displaced Syrians.
"After the completion of the relief of the brotherly Lebanese people, the staff and the delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine headed to Syria, on the instructions of the Senior Official of the holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, to the relief of the Syrian people, especially the displaced from the city of Aleppo to the area of Sayeda Zaynab (peace be upon her)."We have provided the necessary food, necessary materials and other services,"he added.
"The host complex of the holy shrine in Syria provides about 10 thousand meals a day, and it is expected that these numbers will reach 30 thousand meals in the coming days, to include breakfast, lunch and dinner,"Hanoun pointed out.
This initiative comes as part of a series of activities organized by the holy shrine to provide support and assistance to affected communities, both inside Iraq and in neighboring countries, and reflects the depth of solidarity with these communities in times of crisis.
