The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine launches the activities of the first Fatimi festival in the Urdu language

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has launched the first Fatimi festival in Urdu in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her).

The festival was organized by the Religious Affairs department at the holy shrine, and was held in the imam al-Hassan Hall (peace be upon him) inside the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine.

The festival was attended by a number of officials of the holy shrine, as well as a group of professors of the Hawza in Najaf and students of religious sciences from the Pakistani and Indian communities.

The festival activities began with the reading of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the reading of the Surat al-Fatiha on the souls of martyrs, followed by the speech of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, delivered by Dr. Ahmed Sheikh Ali, in which he stated, "it is a great honor to commemorate this occasion by launching the first edition of the (first Fatimi festival in Urdu language), held in the Shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), organized by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine represented by the Department of Religious Affairs".

He added that" the holy shrine, under the guidance of its Senior Official; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, has been keen to revive the religious order, the imams and its symbols on all occasions, regardless of the language, how and means, it has always been in the context of this devotional approach".

For his part, one of the professors of the Hawza in Najaf, Sheikh Ali Najafi, in his speech delivered during the festival, said that the utmost importance is to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), who is not limited to being a symbol of the faithful woman, but has (Peace be upon her) a blessed personality whose importance, status and features of the necessity of her existence have emerged.

He pointed out that Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) has a special place in the heart of the messenger of Allah (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), and he mentioned the saying of the Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household): (Fatima is the Lady of the women of the worlds), and explained that these words clearly highlight the high status enjoyed by Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her).

In his speech, Mr. Najafi mentioned the great sacrifices made by Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her), and called on the festival participants to unite ranks and preserve the sound faith in the face of intellectual challenges, and work to spread the teachings of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
