Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine organizes a condolence program to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) in Pakistan

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organized a condolence program to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her) in the state of Pakistan.

This came on the sidelines of the Second Women Festival organized by the Institute of the heritage of the prophets for electronic Theological Studies/Urdu branch, affiliated to the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra(peace be upon her) in the Pakistani city of Karachi.

The head of the Religious Affairs department at the holy shrine, Sheikh Salah al-Karbalai, said that"as part of the activities of the second edition of the Women Festival in the state of Pakistan, a condolence program was organized in Husseiniya and Imam Hadi (p) mosque in Karachi, which included the holding of congregational prayer with the participation of religious figures and a gathering of believers."

He added that"the program witnessed a speech during which we discussed glimpses of the life of Lady az-Zahra(peace be upon her) and mentioned her virtues, in addition to raising the banner of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon him) in the courtyard of the mosque".

The festival will witness the establishment of various events, including the discussion of a number of researches on the biography of Lady az-Zahra(peace be upon her) and her place, in addition to seminars and introductory tours of educational, religious and cultural institutions, and poetry evenings.
