The Secretary General of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine stresses the importance of adhering to the Husseini legacy and adhering to the commandments of the supreme authority

The secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia-Uddin, stressed the need to adhere to the ancient legacy of the Husseini cause, and adhere to the commandments of the supreme religious authority.

This came during his reception of the delegation of the people of the city of Balad in Salah al-Din governorate, in the presence of a number of officials of the holy shrine.

In his speech, Mr. Aal Dia-Uddin pointed to the emphasis of the Senior Official of the holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, on the importance of adhering to the commandments of the supreme religious authority in preserving the sanctity of the Husseini rituals in all its stages and details, and the need for solidarity among all to ensure their continuity, adherence to the methods inherited from the predecessor in reviving them, and showing them in a form befitting them.

He called for adherence to the commandments of the supreme religious authority for processions, Husseini bodies, preachers, Radoods and poets, which emphasize the need to preserve the sanctity of rituals, and keep them away from practices that are outside the framework of the correct Islamic teachings of Ahl al-Bayt(peace be upon them).

Aal Dia-Uddin stressed the keenness of the holy shrine to hold such meetings constantly; to maintain the link with the processions and hussayni bodies, and contribute to providing the necessary support to them, whether in the service or consolation aspect.

For his part, Mr. Haider al-Baldawi, one of the members of the delegation, expressed his appreciation for the great cooperation provided by the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine in establishing the annual Umm Al-Baneen Council for the people of the city of Balad in the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine, which is held in conjunction with the anniversary of the death of Umm Al-Baneen(Peace be upon her).

He added,"We presented the banner of Sayed Mohammed son of Imam Ali al-Hadi(peace be upon them) to the secretary-general of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in appreciation of the fruitful efforts we have seen and the continuous support to revive the rituals.

The delegation delivered a series of poems and verses that salute the role of the supreme religious authority and its positions in preserving the country, and its continuous calls to preserve the unity of Iraq and the safety of its citizens of various orientations and affiliations, amid the interaction of those present.
