Condolences' processions commemorate the death anniversary of Lady Umm Al-Baneen (peace be upon her) at the two holy shrines

The condolences' processions commemorated the anniversary of the death of Lady Umm Al-Baneen(peace be upon her), at the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon them) in the holy city of Karbala.

Condolence processions flocked to the holy city from various provinces, amid an atmosphere of sadness and sorrow that clouded over the two holy shrines, on the anniversary of the death of Our Lady Umm al-Baneen(peace be upon her).

The sponsor of the funeral of Najaf, Mr. Hadi Mullah Yousef, said that " the Husseini processions in Najaf used to gather every year and head to the Holy Karbala to offer condolences on the occasion of the death anniversary of Lady Umm Al-Baneen(peace be upon her)".

He added that"Husseini processions flocked from various provinces of Iraq to commemorate the occasion, recalling the blessed biography of Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) and her sacrifices for the eternal Husseini cause".
The Husseini rites and processions department worked to organize the smooth movement of mourners and facilitate their performance of the Ziyarat ceremony,"he said.

For his part, the head of the Religious Affairs department at the Kufa mosque, Mr. Ghaith Awad, said that" the procession of the Kufa Alawiyah started from the vicinity of the shrine of Muslim bin Aqeel (peace be upon him) towards the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him); to commemorate the death anniversary of Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her), "noting that"more than 30 buses participated in the March, as part of all facilities for the procession from its start until its arrival in the holy city of Karbala."

The Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine is keen to facilitate the holding of mourning events to commemorate the martyrdom anniversaries of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon her), and to provide services to visitors of the holy shrines.
