The crowds of believers mourn the symbolic coffin of Our Lady Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) at the Two Holy Shrines

The masses of believers participated in the funeral of the symbolic coffin of Our Lady Umm Al-Baneen (peace be upon her) at the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them).

The funeral ceremony began from the Courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), where the symbolic coffin was carried amid an atmosphere of sadness, and the procession then headed to the Shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), a condolence ceremony was held, and slogans and chants expressing the painful tragedy were repeated.

The symbolic funeral is an annual tradition that was held by the procession of the people of Karbala and the lovers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in coordination with the Husseini rites and processions department, as an expression of their grief and suffering from this tragedy on the day of the death of Lady Umm Al-Baneen (peace be upon her).

Religious and social figures and large crowds of visitors participated in the symbolic funeral ceremony, recalling the sacrifices of Lady Umm Al-Baneen (peace be upon her).

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine was keen to hold a mourning ceremony and show manifestations of grief on religious occasions that commemorate the memory of the imams of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), including commemorating the death anniversary of Lady Umm Al-Baneen (peace be upon her).
