The intellectual affairs department is preparing to hold the closing ceremony of the Al-Kafeel Scout Association programs for 2024

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held a coordination meeting to discuss the final preparations for the closing ceremony of the Al-Kafeel Scout Association programs for 2024.

The official of the activities and camps division at the association, Dr. Zaman al-Kanani, said that"the meeting aimed to ensure the organization of the closing ceremony in the best way, as the executive plan of the events was reviewed in the presence of representatives of the relevant departments at the holy shrine".

"The ceremony will witness the participation of more than 1000 scouts from different age groups, including 300 participants from Basra governorate, in addition to more than 100 guests representing ministries and educational figures, with the presence of parents and school principals,"he added.

He explained that"the activities of the ceremony will begin from the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) with the performance of the Scout Promise, along with various activities, and continue at the Karbala International Stadium, as the program includes an expanded Scout review".

"The ceremony represents the culmination of the programs and events organized by the association during 2024, which witnessed a wide participation of young people and boys," al-Kanani pointed out،
The ceremony will see the honoring and promotion of a number of Scout elements, in addition to honoring the supporters of the association's activities throughout the year,"he added.

He stressed that "the preparations are proceeding according to the set plan, with continued coordination with all concerned departments to ensure the success of the ceremony in a manner befitting the status of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine and its efforts in supporting youth and scouting activities".
