Al-Kafeel University achieves the second place in the green metrics international ranking

Al-Kafeel University has achieved the second place in the green metrics ranking of internationally accredited universities and colleges.

The chairman of the Higher Education Authority, Dr. Abbas al-Deda al-Mousawi, said that "Al-Kafeel University has proven a distinctive presence in the local and international academic scene, the most prominent of which is the University's obtaining this rank in the green metrics rating, which evaluates educational institutions according to accurate environmental and scientific criteria".

He added that " the success of the University in reaching these international rankings is only the result of a clear educational vision based on solid scientific foundations and a strong infrastructure, the university administration has paid great attention to environmental sustainability, as it took into account in its educational and research processes the standards of environmental conservation, through reducing gas emissions and the use of clean energies ".

For his part, the president of the University, Dr. Nawras Shahid Al-Dahan, said that "the University's obtaining the second place among 85 private universities and colleges is a distinctive achievement that reflects the continuous efforts exerted by the university administration".

"The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine was the main supporter of these achievements, as it provided unlimited support to the University in the field of infrastructure development and its scientific projects,"he added.

Al-Dahan pointed out that" the construction plan of the university will be completed, and we are now in the third stage of completing the new educational complex in it, and a new additional building will be opened, in addition to the opening of the student club, "pointing out that"the university has introduced environmentally friendly systems, such as solar cells, and renewable energies; to benefit from them in the private infrastructure."
