Conclusion of the first national scientific forum for young elites

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has concluded the activities of the first national scientific forum for youth elites.

The forum was organized by the Al-Qamar Cultural Forum center of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the holy shrine in cooperation with the Al-Ameed scientific and intellectual Association, in the imam al-Hassan Hall (peace be upon him), and lasted for two days.

The director of the center, Sheikh Harith al-Dahi, said that" the activities of the first national scientific forum for youth elites witnessed great interaction and success, in addition to the presence and important discussions, "indicating that"the outputs of the forum will be a comprehensive coordination work program at the national level for personalities and institutions working in the youth cultural environment.

"We hope that next year there will be a special quality of research and it will be one of the outputs of this year," he added, noting that "the difference in this forum from other meetings is that it creates a work program that will be coordinated between institutions according to their competencies and taking into account their peculiarities."

The activities of the forum included several paragraphs, including: a research session with four themes, dealing with the sources of knowledge and culture adopted by young people, media and social media, social identities, which discusses the relationship of the individual to the group and the mutual influence between personal and social identities, and the sociology of reference groups.

The forum's activities witnessed the establishment of a research session discussing a set of commandments of the supreme religious authority, including the necessity of believing in Allah Almighty and the last day, the adherence of young people to obedience and faith, commitment to the virtues of morality, interest in learning and focus on three sources, the Holy Quran, the approach of eloquence, and the book of the "Sahifa Sajjadiya of Imam Zayn al-Abideen (peace be upon him).

Within the activities of the second day of the forum, she reviewed the experiences of a group of Youth Institutions and their challenges in cultural work, including the Hope Makers cultural gathering and the cultural project for Iraqi youth.
