The delegations of the festival of Martyrdom's Spring have visited the new grid of the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) ..

The participation of the delegations of the Festival of the Martyrdom's Spring coming from 44 countries from all continents was not limited the to the programmed activities of the festival, but the organizing committee invited them for a field tour to see the completed and under construction projects of both holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Aba Al-Fadl (peace be upon both of them) in order to deliver the message that with the blessings of the Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) both holy shrines live a comprehensive renaissance in both intellectual and urban fields after decades of deprivation and neglect. These projects are elaborated for the service of the visitors of the holy shrine from inside and outside Iraq, and for the service of this province and the rest of Iraqi provinces.

This field tour began with one of the most important projects, which is the pride of both holy shrines. a project that was born from the womb of the creativity, perseverance and dedication of the servants of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), a project that defied all those who downplayed the importance of the Iraqi labour, a project that is considered as a rehabilitation of Iraqi industry, the project of the new grid of the holy shrine of the example of brotherhood and redemption, Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

After receiving and welcoming the guests in the Al-Saqqa 1 field (The industrial site of the new grid), which is one of the site of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Mr. Ali Al-Saffar, the Associate Deputy Secretary-General of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has presented a detailed explanation of the reasons and goals for which this project is developed, what was its first nucleus and how it was transformed from a project of maintenance of the old grid to a larger project of manufacturing a new grid for the holy shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) with fine technical and engineering specifications in terms of the width, the amount of the metals embedded in its manufacture of gold and silver, the mechanism of installing the pieces and inscriptions that surpassed those in the old one while maintaining its design shape as it is different from the grids of other holy shrines and sanctuaries.
He has also spoke about the spirit of dedication and determination that the working staff have, which is derived from the determination of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him)."

He continued saying: "Thanks to God and with the blessings of this holy place, the new grid is hundred percent Iraqi, as all its manufacturing stages are done by Iraqis, from the design to the smallest operational part of it, though the funds used in its manufacture are a donations of all the visitors of his holy shrine from all over the world."

Then the delegations headed to visit other projects of the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), such as the "Quranic Complex", the hospital of Imam Zayn Al-'Abideen (peace be upon him) and the schools group for orphans which built on an area of 20 thousand square meters.
