The southern green belt department organizes a ceremony on the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (peace be upon him)

The southern green belt department of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organized a ceremony to celebrate the birth anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him).

The head of the Department, Mr. Nasser Hussein Miteb, said that"the Department organized a ceremony on the birth anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), in cooperation with the Department of Hussayni rituals, processions and bodies, and in the presence of a number of members of the holy shrine and a gathering of Karbala families".

He added that"the ceremony included various poems and religious chants, which expressed loyalty and love to the Ahl al-Bayt(peace be upon them)".

He explained that "the department is keen to revive the occasions of the Ahl al-Bayt(peace be upon them); in order to spread their culture and teachings and revive their order(peace be upon them)".
