The funeral of the symbolic coffin of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) at the holy shrines

The holy city of Karbala witnessed the funeral of the symbolic coffin of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), at the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), through the procession of the people of Karbala on her death anniversary.

One of the procession servants; Mr. Ra'ed al-Hakim, said that"the procession of the people of Karbala set off to the shrine of Imam al-Husssyn (peace be upon him) passing through the area between the Two Holy Shrines, reaching the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in cooperation with the Department of Hussayni Rituals and Processions".

In the same context, one of the participants in the procession, Mr. Mohammed Al-Saadi, said that "the Karbala people used on such days to commemorate the death anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), through the funeral of the symbolic coffin, chanting slogans and elegies that express the painful tragedy."

Symbolic mourning is an annual tradition that was keen to hold the procession, with the participation of a number of Husseini-Karbala bodies and processions of various parties, and includes a condolence in which the participants chant a set of elegies that carry in their condolence words to the Master of the Order and Time, the awaited Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance).

The servants of the procession of the people of Karbala thanked the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) for their facilities and the organization of funeral processions in memory of commemorating the occasions of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
