The Iraqi Center for documentation of extremist crimes, affiliated to the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, received archival documents related to the crimes of the dictatorial Baath Party, in the presence of Prime Minister Mr. Mohammed Shiyaa al-Sudani.
The director of the center, Sheikh Abbas al-Quraishi, said:"the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammed Shiyaa al-Sudani, sponsored, at his residence in London, the handover of the archive of the human rights organization in Iraq on the crimes of the Baath to the Iraqi Center for the documentation of crimes of extremism, as part of his official visit to the United Kingdom."
He added that "the Sudanese pointed out the importance of the document and its impact in dealing with information, evidence and documents related to the era of the Baath dictatorship and its crimes, and its importance in enhancing the memory of generations, researchers and legal and historical studies, praising the efforts of the center and its achievements and international participation in conveying the suffering of Iraqis from extremist crimes, and its work in documenting the oppression of the Iraqi people.
Al-Quraishi pointed out that"the ambassador of world peace and the secretary general of the human rights organization, Mr. Saheb Jawad al-Hakim, donated the organization's archive to the Iraqi Center for documenting extremist crimes, and the protocol of receipt and extradition was signed, under the auspices of the prime minister, at his residence in the British capital London."
The center documents The Crimes of extremism and terrorism in all its forms, and collects evidence about the crimes of dictatorial regimes against the Iraqi people, using the best means to study their effects and analyze their results, while providing advice and technical support in these areas.
