Condolence processions continue to commemorate the death of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) in the holy city of Karbala

The condolence processions continue to commemorate the death anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) at the Shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) in the holy city of Karbala.

The Department of Hussayni Rituals, Processions and Organizations supervises the organization of the movement of processions and facilitates the performance of mourners for the condolence ceremony.

The assistant head of the Department, Mr. Kadhem Saleh, said:"the condolence processions continue to arrive to the holy city of Karbala from various provinces, amid an atmosphere of sadness and sorrow to commemorate the death anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her)".

"The condolence processions headed towards the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to offer condolences, and then to the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), passing through the square between the Two Holy Shrines, or vice versa,"he added.

For his part, the sponsor of the Zayd al-Shaheed Foundation (peace be upon him), Mr. Hussein Hamza, said: "the people of Karbala are used on such days to commemorate the death anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) by coming out with condolence processions and chanting slogans that express the sad tragedy."

He added that"the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has facilitated us to hold condolence events to commemorate the occasions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), through coordination with the Department of Hussayni Rituals, Processions and Organizations".
