The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine finishes its preparations to hold the Aqeela Festival at the University of Kirkuk

The public relations department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has completed its final preparations to hold the fifth annual Aqeela Festival at the University of Kirkuk.

The festival is held within the framework of the Al-Kafeel national youth project of the Department of university and school relations in cooperation with the University of Kirkuk under the slogan (chastity and jihad), in commemoration of the death anniversary of the great Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her).

One of the staffs of the Department, Mr. Karar Al-Hasnawi, said:"the department has completed the final preparations for the establishment of the Aqeela Festival (Peace be upon her) in its fifth edition in cooperation with the University of Kirkuk.

He added that"the festival is held in commemoration of the death anniversary of the great Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), and includes a set of events, including honoring about 250 female students wearing the Zaynabi Abaya inside the corridors of the University and neighboring universities.

"The festival will witness the delivery of a number of speeches, including: the speech of the general secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, the speech of the University of Kirkuk, in addition to poems, religious chants and academic research,"Al-Hasnawi said.

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is keen to organize many events and festivals Inside Iraqi universities to commemorate the occasions of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and strengthen the students ' attachment to their sound approach.
