A medical team specializing in neurosurgery at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital announced its success in treating a woman suffering from cysts on the cervical vertebrae.
Dr. Joseph Salama, a specialist in Neurosurgery, said:"a lady came to us suffering from severe weakness in the movement of her upper limbs with difficulty breathing, and after taking the medical history of the lady, it turned out that she was shot ten years ago, and she underwent an operation, so her health status stabilized."
"After a period of time, the pain and weakness of the limbs returned to the woman, and the magnetic resonance revealed the presence of multiple cysts on the cervical vertebrae, so another operation was performed on her in one of the hospitals, but it did not achieve the desired goal,"he added.
Salama explained that" the resonance between the presence of those cysts that caused her weakness of the upper limbs and convulsions that reach the respiratory center, "pointing out that"the lack of rapid surgical intervention loses her ability to breathe and the lack of movement of her upper limbs."
He explained that"a medical team from Al-Kafeel Hospital performed a successful operation on the woman using precise techniques, especially in the hospital, in which those cysts were completely removed; to recover her health and leave with her family".
