A distinct and active participation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy Shrine in the activities of the seventh edition of the Annual Cultural Festival of Safety..

The Secretary-General of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy Shrine is seeking to disseminate the teachings of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) among all segments of the community by providing all that would develop the religious consciousness of the community, and it continues in this approach though its participation in various exhibition and festivals held either inside or outside Iraq, among of which is the Annual Cultural Festival of Safety held currently in the city of Diwaniyah under the slogan "Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance) the reviver of the religion's aspects and the clear water of the Mujahideen" and hosted by the cultural board of Imam As-Sadeq (peace be upon him) in collaboration with the holy shrines of Imam Ali, Imam Al-Hussayn, Imam Al-Kadhem, Imam Al-Jawad and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them all).

The participation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine was not limited to the contribution of the establishment of this festival and its activities, but its has also participated with its Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department in the pavilions of Intellectual and cultural publications, by displaying more than 100 titles of a selection of religious and cultural books in various fields and addressed to all age groups and all community classes, all of them written, published and issued exclusively by the units of this department, which is a distinction of this pavilion from the 30 other publishing houses and institutions participating in this exhibition. The pavilion of the holy shrine included also displaying pictures of the holy shrine, its projects and its various services to the visitors.

It is to note that the Annual Cultural Festival of Safety held by the cultural board of Imam As-Sadeq (peace be upon him for the seventh year in row in collaboration with the holy shrines to celebration the auspicious birth anniversary of the Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance), includes many cultural activities centered on this great personality, and aims to clarify the truth of the mainstay of our faith, which is the Imam Al-Hujjah Ibn Al-Hassan (peace be upon both of them) in the country that represents the incubator of the great upcoming revolution, aiming changing the general mentality of negative wait culture to the culture of the effective wait that motivates to change the reality to the better either in the educational, social, scientific, economic or political terms, making this wait a principle of the dignified free life.
