The Department of Intellectual Affairs celebrates the prophetic mission in Sierra Leone

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organized a celebration in the Prophetic mission in the African state of Sierra Leone.

The ceremony included a speech highlighting the importance of this blessed anniversary and its role in consolidating Islamic and human values, and witnessed various activities, including: reciting poems and religious songs that embodied the joy of believers on this fragrant occasion.

The coordinator of the Center for African Studies of the Department, Sheikh Ibrahim Bah, said: "the celebration comes within the framework of the efforts of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to promote Islamic culture and build bridges of communication with African communities, as well as to consolidate Islamic unity and highlight the lofty values that the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) came up with."

He added that the revival of these events reflects the close connection with the authentic Mohammadian religion derived from the Ahl Al-Bayt school (peace be upon them), stressing the importance of these events in promoting religious and educational concepts among new generations on the African continent.
