The Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine finishes its preparations to honor the Iraqi abaya-wearing students at the Universities of Babylon

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has completed its preparations to hold a ceremony honoring female students wearing the Iraqi Abaya at the Universities of Babylon.

The ceremony is organized by the Department of Public Relations at the holy shrine, in cooperation with the Office of the Senior Official for Women Affairs.

The director of the Office of the Senior Official of the holy shrine; Mr. Jawad Al-Hasnawi, said that "preparations for the annual ceremony to honor the Iraqi abaya-wearing students have been concluded," pointing out that "more than 2,000 students from the Universities of Babylon will be honored at the Sheikh Al-Kulayni complex".

He added that"the ceremony will be held in conjunction with the birth of the Mohammadian moons in the holy month of Sha'ban and will last for three days, and the preparations for this ceremony witness joint work with the relevant departments to ensure the success of the event".

"The halls have been equipped and all the necessary logistical and technical requirements have been secured to hold the ceremony in a manner befitting the cultural and religious nature of the event, as it will include academic and orientation lectures, poems, in addition to religious scenes,"Al-Hasnawi explained.
