Crowds of visitors celebrated the eve of the mid of Sha'ban at the shrine of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance) in the holy city of Karbala.

The holy city of Karbala witnessed the influx of crowds of visitors from inside and outside Iraq for the Ziyarat of the mid of Sha'ban on the birth anniversary of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance).

Visitors perform the ceremony of Ziyarat and praying in a spiritual atmosphere, amid intensive service and security measures to facilitate the movement of visitors and ensure smooth entry and exit from the area surrounding the holy shrine.

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has mobilized its efforts to provide various services to visitors, including providing resting places, providing meals, providing medical and guidance services, as well as organizing worship events for this blessed occasion.

The eve of the mid of Sha'ban is one of the important religious occasions, where believers are keen to revive it with supplication and prayer, in honor of the birth anniversary of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance).
