The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine honors more than 300 female students who wear the Iraqi Abaya at the University of Qadisiya

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine honored more than 300 female students, who wear the Iraqi Abaya, at the University of Qadisiya, as part of the third annual cultural festival of auspicious birth anniversaries.

The festival was organized by the public relations department at the holy shrine, within the framework of the Al-Kafeel National Youth project, in cooperation with the University of Qadisiyah.

The official of the University and School Relations Division in the Department, Mr. Maher Khalid, said:"the festival included a set of events, including: honoring 313 female students wearing the Iraqi abaya inside the corridors of the University, in addition to delivering a number of speeches, including: the speech of the general secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, the speech of the University of Kirkuk, and poems."

"The festival included the presentation of many cultural workshops and lectures that contribute to enhancing cultural awareness among young people, as well as the establishment of cultural stations that seek to achieve the same goal,"he added.

The holy shrine is keen to organize many events and festivals within Iraqi universities to commemorate the occasions of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and strengthen the students' attachment to their sound approach.
