The start of the activities of the first day of the central ceremony for the graduation of students of Iraqi universities and Islamic countries

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine launched the activities of the first day of the central graduation ceremony for students of Iraqi universities and Islamic countries in its eighth edition.

The ceremony is organized by the Al-Kafeel women's religious schools division of the Office of the Senior Official for women's affairs at the holy shrine, under the slogan (from the light of Fatima - peace be upon her-we illuminate the world) and for the academic year 2023/2024.

The events witnessed various events celebrating the graduating female students, including: reciting poems, chanting celebratory chants, as well as a celebratory segment presented by the Husseini Women Public Speaking Division.

The ceremony included a show operetta entitled (agarid Al-Wafa') presented by Mrs. I'tidal Darwish from the Sultanate of Oman, which represents the Omani and Gulf heritage character, and carries several messages urging adherence to the Islamic approach, and emulating the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), emphasizing the importance of hijab and decency.

The events also witnessed the presentation of a segment entitled (Qatarat al-Saqi), which included a media meeting with graduates from previous batches who talked about their experience in participating in the Al-Kafeel Girls ceremony, and how this experience affected their academic and practical lives.

The first day was concluded with the reading of special verses celebrating the countries participating in the ceremony, expressing the feelings of unity and Islamic brotherhood among the students.

The ceremony will continue tomorrow, Friday, with the holding of several events, honors, and interactive programs that celebrate the graduating students and support their launch towards a promising career.
