The launch of the closing ceremony for the graduation of the eighth Al-Kafeel Girls

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has launched the activities of the closing ceremony for the graduation of Iraqi university students, the eighth batch of Al-Kafeel Girls, in the Al-Ameed educational group.

The ceremony is being held by the division of Al-Kafeel women's religious schools of the Office of the Senior Official for women's affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, under the slogan (from the light of Fatima-peace be upon her-we illuminate the world), for the academic year 2023/2024, with the participation of more than 4,000 students from various Iraqi provinces and Islamic countries.

The ceremony was attended by the secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia-Uddin, his deputy, Mr. Abbas Musa Ahmed, a number of members of the holy shrine's Board of directors and officials, in addition to the presence of the presidents of a number of Iraqi universities, official and academic figures.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the recitation of the Iraqi national anthem, the songs of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine (the Pride's Melody), in addition to the reading of Surah Al-Fatiha.

The closing ceremony includes a speech by the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, a chanting event provided by a band from the Al-Kafeel buds project, followed by a speech by the participating universities, a film screening about the graduation ceremony of the female students, in addition to the speech of the participating delegations, and the same for parents, along with other paragraphs.

The events will be concluded by honoring the families of the martyrs and the graduates of Iraqi universities in recognition of the achievements achieved by the students during their academic career.
