The procession of the people of Holy Karbala commemorates the Arba'een of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) in Najaf

The procession of the people of Holy Karbala commemorated the Arba'een anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) at the shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in the province of Najaf al-Ashraf.

The member of the Sayed servants' division of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Badri Mamitha, said that "the procession of the people of Holy Karbala set off to the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him) in the province of Najaf, to extend condolences on the occasion of the Arba'een anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her)".

He added that"the procession of the people of Karbala commemorated this sad anniversary in cooperation with the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them), and supervised the transfer of mourners participating in it and organized by the Department of Hussayni Rituals, Processions and Bodies, as the procession was organized in the form of groups that included Sayeds, Sheikhs and youth of the people of Holy Karbala."

For his part, one of the participants in the procession; Sayed Hamid al-Abees, said that "the procession was keen to commemorate the Arba'een anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) in the Courtyard of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him)," pointing out that "the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) provided the necessary facilities for the procession, in order to provide the appropriate atmosphere for participants to commemorate this sad anniversary."
