The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues its campaign to rehabilitate mosques in Iraqi universities and institutes.

The campaign is being implemented by the University and School Relations Division of the Holy Shrine Public Relations Department.

One of the Department's staff, Mr. Allawi Hussein, said:"the Department's staff continues to rehabilitate mosques in Iraqi universities, as Wasit University was the second destination after the campaign started from Dhi Qar University."

"10 different praying places at Wasit University have been equipped with religious books, supplications, Ziyarats and copies of the Holy Quran, in addition to being equipped with Turbahs and comfortable chairs to facilitate the performance of prayer,"he added.

For his part, the president of Wasit University, Dr. Abbas Laftah, stressed,"this step is added to the series of initiatives held by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, with the aim of serving the community, especially the university community by equipping mosques and praying places at our university with logistical matters."
