The Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine and the Ministry of Health discuss the introduction of Al-Kafeel hospital within the health insurance project

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine discussed with the Iraqi Ministry of Health the introduction of Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital within the health insurance project adopted by the ministry.

This came during a meeting between the secretary general of the holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia-Uddin, and the delegation of the ministry's Health Insurance Authority.

The chairman of the Commission, Mr. Ali Ahmed Obaid, said that"our visit to the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine came with the aim of expanding the health insurance project plan by discussing the possibility of including Al-Kafeel hospital to be among the providers of this service".

He added that" the delegation includes an integrated team working to complete the initial procedures to admit the hospital within this project in accordance with the instructions and controls of the Ministry of health, "pointing out that"Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital is one of the most important leading institutions in providing various health services to citizens."

"The categories covered by the health insurance project include employees on a mandatory basis with their families, low-income people covered by the Social Welfare Network, in addition to retirees and citizens on an optional basis,"Obaid added.
