The Department of Religious Affairs holds a condolence Council on the death anniversary of the great lady Khadija (peace be upon her)

The Department of Religious Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held a condolence Council on the death anniversary of the great lady Khadija (peace be upon her), in the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The head of the Department, Sheikh Salah al-Karbalai, said that "the department held a council of condolence on the death anniversary of Lady Khadija (peace be upon her), in the Shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), in order to recall her blessed biography, immortal positions, and her victory for Islam".

He added that " the council discussed the most important stages of her life, especially those that began with her acquaintance with the prophet and her marriage to him (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), and her birth to Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) or the holy imams (peace be upon them).

Karbalai continued that"the great Lady Khadija represents a unique example of a Muslim woman, she spared no effort in supporting her husband the Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), so she was the best wife, and the best support, and she (peace be upon her) was the best exemple for our women and daughters".

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is keen to provide religious lectures throughout the holy month of Ramadan, in order to educate visitors and enrich their religious knowledge, and to revive the order of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
