The Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine concludes the competition for the International Al-Ameed Award for the Recitation of the Holy Quran

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine concluded the second edition of the International Al-Ameed Award for the Recitation of the Holy Quran after announcing the names of the winners for the adult and young categories.

The competition is organized by the Scientific Complex of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, with the participation of readers from 22 countries, 30 adult and 10 young readers.

The top three winners of the adult category were ranked in the following sequence:

Osama Abdul Hamza al-Karbalai from Iraq.
Ezzat El-Sayed Mohamed Ali Rashed from Egypt.
Hamid Reza Maqdissi from Iran.

As for the ranking of the top three winners of the youth category, they were as follows:

Shehab Ahmed Hassan from Egypt.
Amir Hossein Bagheri from Iran.
Mohammed Najmi Alfaro from Indonesia.

The competition is supervised by an international jury, consisting of (Sheikh Mohammed Bassiouni from Egypt, Sheikh Bassem Al-Abdi from Iraq, Dr. Mushtaq al-Ali from Iraq, Sheikh Abdul Kabir Haidari from Afghanistan, Sheikh Muhammad Asfour from Egypt, reciter Mr. Hassanein Al-Helou from Iraq, vocalist Mr. Karim Mousavi from Iran, and vocalist Muhammad Rammal from Lebanon).

The competition is one of the contributions of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to spread Quranic culture, as it is the right approach to the goodness of the individual and society, as readers from Arab, Asian and African countries flocked to participate in its second edition.
