The Khatmah is held by the Holy Quran Institute in Karbala, affiliated to the scientific complex of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.
The director of the Institute, Sheikh Jawad al-Nasrawi, said that "the central Quranic Khatmah of the month of Ramadan attracts various segments of society, from buds and students of religious sciences, as well as security forces and professors of universities and schools, which contributes to the promotion of Quranic culture in community circles".
He added that"the recited central Khatmah is characterized by a variety of recitation methods, including the Iraqi and Egyptian methods, which allows attendees to listen to various Quranic schools and benefit from them, and the daily recitation forum witnesses the presence of children, boys, youth and the elderly, in addition to women.
This Khatmah continues throughout the days of the holy month of Ramadan, and the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine aims to spread the Quranic culture and strengthen the link with the Dear Book of Allah.
