Great efforts harnessed by the Carpentry Unit for the achievement of the projects of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine..

The Carpentry Unit at the Department of the Engineering maintenance at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, harnesses great efforts in accomplishing many of the supporting projects at the holy shrine, in addition to the works related to the services of the visitors, which comes in support of the policy adopted by the holy shrine of the self-sufficiency by relying on their engineering and professional staff in all its activities and projects.
The official of the carpentry unit, Mr. Hasan Lutfi talked to the Al-Kafeel Network saying: "This unit was founded after the fall of the former regime, and entered within the structure of the holy shrine only eight years ago. The unit includes a productive factory that manufactures the doors, tables, chairs, prayer chairs deployed in the holy shrine for the disabled and elderly, closets for prayer Turba, minbars, mdf wall covers and everything related to carpentry needs of the holy shrine."
He added: "Among the works we have accomplished recently is the decors of the Al-Kafeel Radio Studio, in a very suitable cost compared to the markets prices. And we continue working especially for the external sites that the holy shrine is creating. And currently we are completing the carpentry works of the new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and also making bookshelves for the libraries of Al-'Ameed groups of schools of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in addition to other works for the Institute of the Holy Quran in Najaf, including shelves, tables, chairs and others."
Adding: "The carpentry unit is composed of other subsidiary units such as the unit of upholstery for covering the office furniture and the installation of curtains, in addition to the unit of wood's dye. The number of the Unit's employees are 27 who are using many basic devices and equipment.
