The Air Conditioning and Cooling Department enhances the Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine system with a new cooling unit with a capacity of 360 tons

The air conditioning and cooling department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has strengthened the central cooling system with a Chiller Unit with a capacity of more than 360 tons, coinciding with the arrival of the summer season.

The assistant head of the Department, engineer Ali Musa Omran, said that "the department has strengthened the central cooling system at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine with a device (Chiller Unit) with a capacity of more than 360 tons, and linked to the central system that feeds the Holy Sanctuary and the holy courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), in addition to the basements of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Jawad (peace be upon them), in order to enhance the efficiency of cooling in various facilities of the holy shrine".

He added:"in conjunction with the installation of the chiller Unit, the laying of ice water pipes for the cooling unit with a capacity of 210 tons was started, as it was installed above the Holy Sanctuary to feed the basement of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), completing all the electrical and technical requirements for its operation with high efficiency."

Omran pointed out that"the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine adopts the latest cooling and freezing systems to ensure efficient performance, stressing that the staff of the department has extensive experience in installing and maintaining these systems, and keep abreast of the latest global developments through specialized training programs".

The installation and operation works were carried out in coordination with the Engineering Projects Department at the holy shrine, as part of an integrated plan aimed at achieving self-sufficiency in the implementation and maintenance of cooling and freezing systems.
