The secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia-Uddin, stressed that obtaining the institutional accreditation of the Al-Kafeel and Al-Ameed universities represents a first step towards international recognition.
The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held a meeting chaired by its secretary-general and attended by Deputy Secretary-General Engineer Abbas Musa Ahmed, member of the administration Sayed Mohammad al-Ashigar, chairman of the higher education authority Dr. Abbas al-Deda al-Mousawi, and member of the authority; Sayed Afdhal al-Shami, to discuss the future plans of the Al-Kafeel and Al-Ameed universities, after al-Kafeel University won the first place and Al-Ameed University the second place in institutional accreditation from the Ministry of higher education and scientific research.
"This accreditation, approved by international professional organizations and associations, will contribute to improving performance and developing educational programs, and will also open wider horizons for graduates to get job opportunities inside and outside Iraq,"said Aal Dia-Uddin.
He added that"this achievement will push the Al-Kafeel and Al-Ameed universities, as well as the rest of our educational institutions, to provide the best for its learners and achieve more development".
The Secretary-General explained that"the Al-Kafeel and Al-Ameed universities are among the first private universities in Iraq to achieve this accreditation, stressing the commitment of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to raise the ceiling of ambition in its educational institutions".
The accreditation represents an official recognition of the commitment of the Al-Ameed and Al-Kafeel universities to provide high-quality scientific education, improve the level of scientific research and services provided to students and the community.
Institutional accreditation is a government recognition of the mission of the Al-Kafeel and Al-Ameed universities in higher education, and an official certificate confirming the possession of each University of the components of the administrative structure through all ministerial regulations and laws, completion and mastery of academic scientific programs, members of academic teaching staff, and meeting the required quality assurance conditions, as well as the readiness of its material and financial resources.
