On Friday the 15th of the month of Ramadan 1436 AH corresponding to the 3rd July 2015, and within the activities of the Eighth edition of the Annual Cultural Festival celebrating the birth anniversary of Imam Al-Hassan Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him), held by the people of the city Al-Hilla under the auspices of the two General Secretariats of the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) under the slogan: "Imam Al-Hassan Al-Mujtaba, the glorifier of the faithful and the beacon of Mujahideen", a popular poem evening was held with the participation of a group fo poets from Iraq.
This evening ceremony began with the recitation of verses of the Holy Quran by the reader Mohsen Al-Remahi, followed by Radood Mohamed Jallawi who sang a poem about the Holy Prophet (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household) and his grandson Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him). Then came the role of the poet Maytham Faleh who has presented a poem about Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas and his mother Lady Umm Al-Baneen (peace be upon both of them), followed by some poems praising the heroism of the volunteers of the popular mobilization for the defense of Iraq.
After which, there was a honour ceremony for the elderly volunteers of the popular mobilization in the Babylon province, followed by radood Ammar Al-Hilali and the great poet Abu Mohamed Al-Miyahi who presented poems about Imam Al-Hassan Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him).
At the end, it was the role of the poet Mohammed Al-A'ajibi who delivered his last poems about Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him) and other poems to glorify of the volunteers of the popular mobilization.
