The servants of the two holy shrines commemorate the demolition of the graves of the imams of Baqi (peace be upon them)

The servants of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) commemorated the anniversary of the demolition of the graves of the imams of Baqi (peace be upon them) through a unified condolence procession.

The procession witnessed the participation of the members of the board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Mohammad al-Ashigar and Sayed Kadhem Obada, in addition to a number of its officials.

The assistant head of the Department of the Maqam of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance); Sayed Mahdi al-Mousawi, said: "the unified condolences procession to serve the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), is among the events held annually to commemorate this sad occasion."

He added that"the procession set off from the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine, passing through the square between the two holy shrines, to conclude with the establishment of a mourning Council in the courtyard of Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine, with the participation of visitors".

The servants of the two holy shrines is keen to commemorate the occasions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) by coming out with a unified condolences procession.
