The Two Holy Shrines recall the tragedy of the demolition of the graves of the imams of Baqi (peace be upon them)

The holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) recalled the painful tragedy of the demolition of the graves of the imams of Baqi (peace be upon them).

This came during their speech delivered by Sayed Adnan Gelokhan al-Mousawi, at the ceremony commemorating the tragic demolition of the graves of the imams of Baqi (peace be upon them), which was held in cooperation with the people of Holy Karbala at the Qibla gate of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), amid the presence of officials of the two holy shrines, representatives of Hussayni processions, parties and bodies and a gathering of mourners visitors on this sad occasion.

"From this holy place, we send the condolences to the Master of the Order and Time (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance), our great scholars and the Islamic nation with this sad anniversary, which is the anniversary of the demolition of the graves of the imams of Baqi (peace be upon them), and we raise our hands by praying to Allah Almighty to grant all believers to rebuild these holy shrines, and stand at them,"Gelokhan said in his speech.

He added that"one of the sources of affection for the imams of the Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) is to follow their approach and visit their holy shrines, indicating that the demolition of the graves of the imams of Baqi was not just the demolition of stones and doors, but it is an attack on Allah Almighty, who ordered us to raise and glorify the houses and shrines of the prophets, imams and righteous".

Al-Mousawi continued that "the houses of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) are of a great status, and raising the houses is sometimes material in terms of construction, and at other times moral in terms of sanctification, exaltation and veneration, and that the demolition of the graves of the imams of Baqi and the Askariyayn imams (prayers of Allah be upon them) represents an encroachment on the rules of Allah, his book and the commandment of the Prophet Mohammad (Allah be upon him and upon his holy Household).
