Iraqi Center for documenting crimes of extremism: the memory of pain conference will witness the participation of 13 Arab and foreign countries

The Iraqi Center for documentation of extremist crimes, affiliated with the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, confirmed that the memory of pain conference will witness the participation of 13 Arab and foreign countries.

The conference will be held by the Iraqi Center for documenting extremist crimes of the department, in cooperation with the UNESCO chair for Genocide Prevention Studies at the Faculty of Arts, Baghdad University, the martyrs and political prisoners institutions, the Higher National Authority for accountability and justice, and the University of Baghdad, under the slogan (for a future free of pain), and the title (memory of pain in Iraq a century of crimes, genocides, massacres and violations), for the period April 16-17.

The director of the Center, Dr. Abbas Al-Quraishi, said that"the conference witnessed the participation of research from 13 Arab and foreign countries, in addition to the research presented to us from inside Iraq, written in three languages (Arabic, English and French)".

"The number of accepted research has reached 90 scientific papers that will participate in the activities of the conference, which will be held from April 16 to 17,"he added.

"The accepted research included 15 international entries from countries: Britain, Germany, France, Iran, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Syria, and others, as well as more than 75 local research entries from various institutions and universities in Iraq,"Al-Quraishi said.
