The Ministry of Agriculture is holding a week-long event at the Baghdad International Fair from April 15 to 20, with the participation of several entities and companies specialized in the agricultural sector and food industries.
The participation of the holy shrine was represented through several of its companies, namely: Khair Al-Joud Company for Modern Agricultural Technology and the Production of Detergents and Disinfectants, Al-Kafeel Food Industries Company, and Al-Lewaa International Company. These companies showcased their products in the fields of agriculture and food manufacturing.
Khair Al-Joud Company aims through its participation to display its agricultural fertilizers and keep pace with the advancements in this field, as the company contributes to supporting the local agricultural sector.
The Al-Kafeel Food Industries Company participated with a range of products, including Al-Kafeel bottled water, Al-Kafeel potatoes, and several agricultural crops produced in the farms of the Al-Abbas's (peace be upon him) Holy Shrine, in addition to Al-Kafeel dates, with the aim of supporting the local market with high-quality national products.
The Al-Lewaa Company also showcased models of its agricultural production, particularly wheat, red potatoes, and yellow potatoes.
The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine seeks, through its participation in Agricultural Week, to actively contribute to the support and development of the agricultural and food sector in Iraq, and to encourage local production through its specialized projects.
