The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine concludes the activities of the eighth edition of the National Eloquence Art Competition

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine concluded the activities of the eighth edition of the National Eloquence Art Competition.

The competition was organized by the University and School Relations Division, part of the Public Relations Department at the holy shrine, as part of the National Al-Kafeel Youth Project, under the slogan "Knights of Eloquence in the Oasis of Generosity and Eloquence," and titled "Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him) - A School of Free Thought." It lasted for two consecutive days.

The competition included various activities, such as holding three sessions in which 60 students represented 20 educational directorates from Iraqi provinces, with three participants from each directorate. Additionally, there were speeches from the entities involved in the competition, a video presentation, and the recitation of several poems.

The first place in the competition was won by the student Yahya Mohammed Najm from the third General Directorate of Education in Al-Karkh, while the second place was secured by the student Hussein Haidar Izzat from the Education Directorate of Wasit Governorate. The third place went to the student Mohammed Firas from the General Directorate of Education in Maysan Governorate. The fourth place was taken by the student Ahmed Mustafa Jawad from the third Education Directorate of Al-Rusafa, and the fifth place was shared by the student Ayoub Abdul Rahim Abdul Al-Samad from the first Education Directorate of Al-Karkh and the student Jaafar Mohammed Ali from the Education Directorate of Karbala Governorate.

The Secretary-General of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Sayed Mustafa Murtada Aal Dia-Uddin, honored the top five winners, and the closing ceremony also included a special recognition for five other contestants whose scores were close to those of the top five winners.

The competition is part of a series of activities organized by the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to develop the skills of students in Iraqi schools and support student talents of all age groups.
