A delegation from the two holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) pays a visit to the funerals of the area of Khan Bani Saad and visits the families of the martyrs and the wounded of the last criminal bombing.

To communicate with the families of the martyrs and the wounded and in continuation of the series of inspection visits, a delegation from the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) visited the funerals of the area of Khan Bani Saad in the Province of Diyala, which was attacked the day before Eid Al-Fitr by a terrorist attack, leaving hundreds of martyrs and wounded men, women, children and elderly. This visit came to provide the material and moral support to these families and to present them the condolences in light of the difficult conditions they are passing through. Sheikh Adel Al-Wakeel, the head of the delegation delivered some guidelines, in which he said: "Dear brothers, we came to you from the land of redemption, the land of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) to present you all the condolences and o pray the Almighty God to give patience and solace to the families of the martyrs and speedy recovery to the wounded. And as you all know, as the province of Diyala lives in harmony and affection between its different components and the target is not only the followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) but all the Iraqi people. That is why we brought you today the commandment that was recommanded previously by Sayed Al-Sistani, which is mainly focused on the idea that Iraqi people has to control themselves as all the sects in Iraq are targeted by the criminal gangs that took control the non shia cities and still they killed and harassed their residents."
Adding: "These criminals have harmed us in this criminal attack, but this only strengthen our steadfast on the unity of Iraq, and only strengthen the compassion among us and we tell them that our response will be in the battlefields, we will make them pay all the crimes they did to the innocents from the children, women and elderly, as those criminals do not know the meaning of humanity, they have chosen the last hours of the holy month of Ramadan when only few hours remained for the joys of Eid day."
Sheikh Al-Wakeel finished his speech saying: " With the Almighty will, this cloud will recede from our beloved Iraq. And from this place we call upon the state to punish those criminals an traitors, as those who betray this country should not be forgiven. And in the same time we present to the families of the martyrs and the wounded our sincere condolences and sympathy, with the regards of Sayed Al-Safi who advised you to be like those about whom the almighty God has said: {So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers.} (3:139)
It is to note that a truck bomb has targeted a popular market in the area of Khan Bani Saad a day before Eid Al-Fitr and led to 300 dead and wounded, and the leadership of Tigris [Dijlah] operations announced that they arrested a number of suspects and the investigations are still under way to uncover the perpetrators of this crime.
