The Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine organizes an afforestation campaign in the area between the Two Holy Shrines

The Department between the Two Holy Shrines at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organized an afforestation campaign to increase green spaces and provide vegetation cover.

The official of the general maintenance division of the Department; Mr. Mohammed Jassim, said that the staff of the afforestation unit of the division is working on planting trees in the area between the Two Holy Shrines and the streets leading to the Old City in order to provide vegetation cover and shade for visitors.

He added that the unit's staff planted various tree tyoes and use different types of fertilizers that suit the plants in the area.

The afforestation works are part of the efforts of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to add aesthetic touches to the area between the Two Holy Shrines in order to improve the environment and serve visitors.
